The Granary is a recently converted stone barn on the Castle Heaton Estate. The Estate lies in a wonderfully rural location on the banks of the River Till about two miles above its confluence with Tweed. The Granary is ideally situated for fishing parties of up to seven people being only a few minutes drive from the middle and lower beats of Tweed. The Granary has excellent drying facilities, secure rod storage and plenty of freezer space. Dogs are welcome.
The accommodation comprises on the ground floor of: entrance hall, shower room with w.c., a spacious, comfortable sitting room, and large, fully equipped kitchen with dining table. On the first floor there are three twin bedrooms, a single room and bathroom. There is a large garden accessed from the sitting room.
Fishing for salmon and seatrout on the Castle Heaton water is sometimes available, by separate arrangement. There are some 15 pools over approximately 1 mile of single bank and ½ mile of double bank fishing.
